Maximize your rewards and enjoy a seamless Payelle experience with these quick tips:

1) Review Your Credit Limits
Payelle automatically chooses the best rewards card for each purchase — without ever accessing your private financial information. However, it’s a good idea to regularly review your credit limits and balances within your bank’s app to avoid declined transactions or over-limit fees.

2) Set Up Auto Pay
To avoid missed payments and keep your rewards intact, enable Auto Pay directly in your credit card account. Payelle routes transactions to your synced cards, but you control your payments — we never access or manage your financial data.
3) Select Your Bonus Categories
Some cards, like Chase Freedom Flex or Citi Custom Cash, let you choose or activate categories.
Check your credit card app each quarter or billing cycle to ensure your highest-spend category (like gas, dining, or groceries) is selected — then resync in Payelle by adding a "custom card".

4) Add Custom Cards When Needed
If you have cards with special categories or limited-time offers, add them as Custom Cards during setup so Payelle can optimize spending around those rewards automatically.

5) Keep Cards Active
Make sure your cards remain unlocked and active in Apple Wallet.
If you receive a replacement or updated card, simply remove the old one and resync the new version with Payelle.

No. Payelle does not use notifications or reminders. The card selection happens automatically without requiring user attention.

Recommendation apps tell users which card is best. Payelle selects the card automatically, removing the need for a decision at checkout.

Do I have to open an app or confirm anything?
No. There is nothing to open and nothing to confirm. The correct card is selected automatically. However, Payelle gives you an opportunity to choose another card prior to tapping to pay.

Does Payelle access my credit card numbers or bank accounts?
No. Payelle does not access credit card numbers or connect to bank accounts. Automation is limited to card selection only.
